About

In Psalm 8 , David asks of God, 'Who am I that You are mindful of me?' If you see me and I look puzzled, it's because this same question often keeps me distracted...

Opportunity this Christmas season

Hey Everyone,

Our pastor sent out the following email yesterday.

If you would like to serve these folks, or if you just have good ideas about things that we can do, please let me know!

-----------------------------------------

Attention ALF family, I have been beating the bushes for one of the neediest families in the 4 country are and I believe the Lord has brought that family to us to bless this Christmas. The family is the Velez family; a mother and a father both not working at this time and 4 beautiful kids. They have so many needs and as church I would like to be Christ to them and extend a kingdom blessing to this family this Christmas to show them the Love of Jesus. First, they are in need of food. They get 200. total in food stamps per month and they are just about out of food for the month. Anything you can pull out of your freezer or cabinets would be a huge blessing to them. They also need clothes for the children shoes pants, shirts, coats, socks, underwear est.… a toy would be nice as well. Below is the ages and sizes. Please pray about this and lets be His hands and Feet and bless this family this Christmas.

Update on last years family, Mrs. Ellis was so blessed and thankful. When contacted this year she stated that things were much better this year and thanks everyone at Abundant Life Fellowship for blessing her and her 2 daughters last year.

Jesus says in Matt 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Again, please try to have all food, clothing and toys to the church by Friday by 4:00pm. We will be transporting these items to the family at 5:00pm. Marry Christmas, Pastor Ted and family
